God has great things in store for you!

I’ve had tons of awesome breakfasts but the one I had this morning was surreal- Cooked and made with love- with Daryl Batislaong at Camarin,Caloocan City Philippines.
1st time in 5 years :) I got to spend time with my beau’s family and play with Bamboo, his Labrador- at their place. Truly, everything has its perfect timing. It has long been my promise to myself not to ransack his house if not formally invited by his parents. I may be outspoken but I’m maria Clara at heart :) haha!
I was surprised when he asked me if he can get a day off from my Holy Week rest to stay with them for dinner and insisted on me staying. He truly pampered me when I was at his place. He even cooked breakfast for me on the spot. He’s damn good at the Kitchen. How can I not adore him?
And, the recipe? It’s a secret between the two of us ;p We did a pinky promise okay!
What a way to end WD4 Quarter End Closing.Thank you, Lord. This should prep me up this coming days.
And Manila Penn Car Transfer- thanks for dropping us. Everyday gets cooler at work :) Woot! Can you feel the love? I do :)

It’s the time of the month where we’d experience sleepless nights once again :) But this time- IN STYLE. Our building was shut down for maintenance and we had to backpack all files and do what we do best- Close the books :) at the Peninsula Manila. Posh right? :) Seems like the odds are working for us haha!

Some things are never overdue. Woot woot!!! Now at P&G, it makes more sense to walk up the stage and get my diploma :)
God may never give us everything we wish for, either because:
1) He’s waiting for the perfect timing to grant it to us;
2) Or, He has a greater blueprint that would make us realize our individual mission :)

Quezon Adventure w/ Fambam Part I

March 24, 2012- I decided to go on a remarkable roadtrip with my Family. It was more of a Spiritual Trip to prepare reflect individually-where else but in Lucban, Quezon at “Kamay ni Hesus.” We ventured 4-hours drive going there and it’s fascinating to learn the culture of Quezon.
Well, here are my discoveries:
1) They offer the just the best road-side puto bumbong in the world. filled with Cheese and buko and not just plain flour and Sugar. God, it’s addicting and world-class.
2)They sell functional and quality Swiss knives on the road.
3) It’s one of the most calm place you’ll ever arrive at- especially when you’re on a spiritual Search ;p People here are known for being strict followers of the Catholic Church and famous Landmarks of Faith are located here.
4) There are beautiful beaches here as well :)

“Kamay ni Hesus” is a destination worth traveling. It sits at the top of a 100-step climb mountain Top and you get to do stations of the cross along the way. I guess it’s a mirror of Jesus’ journey and sacrifice to profess his Faith to god. It was a meaningful path for me, as I was truly in the moment to be with God. I’m just nerve-wracked lately and I wanted be in touch with him.. and find my peace.
At the top, you’ll see this beautiful view, when you stand beside the Famous “Kamay ni Hesus.” I personally got to reflect and just feel the breeze of nature becoming one with the structures of faith that welcomed my journey down-up. The experience was magical- because I had a goal: be with God that day. Just focus on Him, nothing else.

You know that feeling when you rant about the distance of your wanted location? I never felt that in the trip. I was actually thankful for the long kilometers it caused us. I think that’s just the good life- observe nature riding a pick-up :) A big part of my calm self this week was that long ride. I got to really appreciate the big picture I have, since I took a back step from the city. Thank god!

Downstairs, at the foot of the religious mount are these prints of families that went here, expressing their faith and gratefulness for having a blessed Life. Or even better- for having the gift of Life- from cracks of bad to good. and just accepting everything and trusting Him.

Spotted! Walk away. Walk away from all anxieties, worries and what-could-haves. Just embrace the present. Let things be. Have fun and make the most of it. Life.
